Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Transfer to Your Accommodation

Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, you will be welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel or riad. This is your first chance to soak up Morocco’s atmosphere and get settled after your journey.

Depending on your arrival time, you might wish to rest and relax at your hotel or head out for a gentle walk to get a feel for the city. Casablanca is Morocco’s largest and most modern city, and it offers a wonderful first impression of the country.

Day 2: Casablanca – Hassan II Mosque – Travel to Essaouira via Al Jadida and Safi

In the morning, visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, perched dramatically on the Atlantic coast. Its stunning minaret and intricate Moroccan craftsmanship are unforgettable highlights.

Afterward, depart for Essaouira via the scenic coastal road, passing through the towns of El Jadida and Safi. Arrive in Essaouira by evening, where you can stroll along the medina or enjoy fresh seafood by the port before checking into your accommodation.

Day 3: Essaouira – Sandy Beach at Leisure

Today is dedicated to the charming coastal city of Essaouira. Explore its UNESCO-listed medina, fortified ramparts, and vibrant fishing port. The town’s relaxed atmosphere, colorful streets, and artisan workshops make it a true gem of Morocco.

If you’re looking for something more active, you can enjoy optional experiences such as horseback riding or camel rides along the beach, wind and kite surfing, or simply savor fresh seafood in one of the harbor cafés.

Day 4: Essaouira – Marrakech

After breakfast, depart Essaouira and travel inland towards Marrakech, passing through Argan tree country. You may even spot goats climbing the branches of argan trees, a unique and fascinating sight.

Arrive in Marrakech by the afternoon and check into your riad or hotel. If time permits, take a short walk into the medina or enjoy the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna Square before settling in for the night.

Day 5: Marrakech Sightseeing with Official Local Guide

Spend the day exploring the sights of Marrakech with a licensed local guide. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and Saadian Tombs, before strolling through the colorful souks filled with crafts, spices, and textiles.

In the afternoon, you may choose to visit the Majorelle Gardens, a peaceful oasis once owned by Yves Saint Laurent. In the evening, return to Jemaa el-Fna Square to experience its vibrant street food stalls, performers, and musicians.

Day 6: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

After breakfast, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Along the way, enjoy panoramic views and stop to visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its role in many films.

Continue through Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” and drive along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward the Dades Valley. Check into your hotel and relax while enjoying views of the dramatic rock formations and lush valley.

Day 7: Dades Valley Exploration

Today is devoted to discovering the Dades Valley and its unique landscapes. Visit the “Monkey Fingers” rock formations and enjoy short hikes or walks through Berber villages surrounded by lush greenery and dramatic red cliffs.

This is also a perfect opportunity to experience authentic Berber hospitality. Spend another night in the Dades Valley, enjoying a traditional Moroccan dinner and the peace of this stunning region.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

Depart the Dades Valley and make your way to the Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon with 300m cliffs that tower above a clear river. Take a short walk in this natural wonder before continuing your journey.

Arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon, where camels await to take you on a trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Watch the sunset in the Sahara and spend the night in a desert camp with traditional music, stargazing, and dinner under the stars.

Day 9: Merzouga Desert Exploration

Day 11: Fes Sightseeing with Official Local Guide

Today, explore Fes Medina, one of the largest medieval cities in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, and the world-famous tanneries.

Your guide will lead you through the labyrinth of narrow streets filled with workshops, markets, mosques, and fountains. Discover the rich history of Morocco’s spiritual capital before returning to your riad for the night.

Day 12: Fes – Volubilis – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, depart Fes and head north towards Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman archaeological site. Walk among ancient columns, mosaics, and ruins that showcase Morocco’s Roman heritage.

Continue through the Rif Mountains to arrive in Chefchaouen, the picturesque “Blue Pearl.” Spend the evening wandering its tranquil blue-painted streets and enjoying the mountain town’s relaxed vibe.

Day 13: Chefchaouen – Tetouan – Tangier

Leave Chefchaouen and drive towards Tangier, stopping in Tetouan along the way to appreciate its Andalusian influence. Upon arrival in Tangier, explore the city’s Kasbah, medina, and lively port.

Later, head to Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, and take in the sweeping ocean views. Spend the evening at leisure in Tangier, dining by the sea or exploring the vibrant nightlife.

Day 14: Tangier – Asilah – Rabat

Continue to Rabat, Morocco’s political capital, where you’ll visit landmarks such as the Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Spend the evening enjoying Rabat’s refined charm before overnighting in the city.

Day 15: Rabat – Casablanca – Departure
