Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Upon arrival at Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport, your driver will meet and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll begin exploring Morocco’s largest city, a cosmopolitan hub where tradition meets modernity.

The highlight of the day is the Hassan II Mosque — one of the largest mosques in the world, perched dramatically over the Atlantic Ocean. You can also stroll along the Corniche Ain Diab, where locals gather for evening walks, cafés, and fresh sea breezes. Overnight stay in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, visit the majestic Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the atmospheric Kasbah of the Udayas, with its white-and-blue Andalusian-style streets.

Continue the journey north through scenic Rif Mountains until you arrive in Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue Pearl of Morocco.” The town’s striking blue-painted walls and laid-back atmosphere make it one of the most photogenic places in the country. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Explore Chefchaouen

Today is dedicated to Chefchaouen, a town nestled against the Rif Mountains. Wander through the narrow, blue-washed lanes of the medina, filled with handicraft shops selling woven blankets, pottery, and leather goods. This is the perfect place to capture postcard-worthy photos.

In the afternoon, walk to Ras El Ma, a refreshing riverside spot, or hike to the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views of the town and mountains. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Leaving Chefchaouen behind, you’ll head to the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved archaeological site. Stroll among mosaics, basilicas, and triumphal arches that date back over 2,000 years.

Next, continue to Meknes, an imperial city known for its monumental gates such as Bab Mansour and its historic granaries. By evening, you’ll arrive in Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5: Full Day in Fes

Today you’ll enjoy a guided tour of Fes el-Bali, the largest car-free urban area in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the narrow labyrinth of souks, vibrant with leather tanneries, spice markets, and artisans at work.

Highlights include the Al Quaraouiyine University — considered the world’s oldest continuously operating university — the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Nejjarine Fountain. The day ends with panoramic views of the old city from the Merenid Tombs. Overnight in Fes.

Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Departing from Fes, you’ll travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. The first stop is Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style houses and clean streets. Nearby, walk through the cedar forests of Azrou, home to wild Barbary macaques.

Continue past the apple-growing town of Midelt and along the spectacular Ziz Valley, dotted with palm groves. By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Here, you’ll ride camels into the desert and spend the night in a luxury Sahara camp under the stars.

Day 7: Sahara Desert Exploration

Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, one of Morocco’s most magical experiences. After breakfast, you’ll explore the Sahara by 4x4, visiting nomadic families who still live traditionally in the desert.

You’ll also stop in Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa musicians who trace their heritage back to sub-Saharan Africa. Return to your desert accommodation for another night under the desert sky.

Day 8: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Today’s journey takes you through the Tafilalet palm groves and traditional mud-brick villages to the towering cliffs of Todra Gorge. Here, you can enjoy a walk along the riverbed framed by 300-meter-high limestone walls.

Afterward, continue to the fertile Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Overnight in a charming local riad overlooking the canyon.

Day 9: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Travel along the famous Route of a Thousand Kasbahs toward Ouarzazate, often nicknamed the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Here, you can visit the Atlas Film Studios, where movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed (Atlas Studios site).

The highlight is the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site  and one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. After exploring, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass to reach Marrakech.

Day 10: Marrakech Guided Tour

A full day is dedicated to discovering Marrakech, Morocco’s most vibrant city. Your guided tour covers the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs. Wander the bustling souks, filled with colorful spices, textiles, and crafts.

Don’t miss the world-famous Jemaa el-Fna square, a UNESCO cultural heritage site, where snake charmers, storytellers, and food vendors create an unforgettable atmosphere.

Day 11: Marrakech – Essaouira

After breakfast, head west to the laid-back coastal town of Essaouira. Along the way, see the unique sight of goats climbing argan trees — a Moroccan specialty.

Once in Essaouira, explore the UNESCO-listed medina, fishing port, and windswept beach. This coastal city is known for its relaxed vibe, art galleries, and fresh seafood. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 12: Essaouira – Marrakech

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Essaouira, wandering its seaside ramparts or enjoying a camel ride along the beach. The city’s vibrant souks are perfect for last-minute souvenirs.

In the afternoon, return to Marrakech, where you’ll have the evening free to revisit Jemaa el-Fna or enjoy a traditional hammam. Overnight in Marrakech.

Today you can take an excursion to the Ourika Valley, a lush retreat just an hour from Marrakech. Surrounded by terraced fields and Berber villages, it offers a refreshing break from the city.
